About Coachli
The all-in-one monetisation platform for coaches, consultants, and creators. Founded 2022. Over 15,000 active creators. More than ₦1 billion in transactions processed.
What is Coachli?
Coachli is a software platform that helps coaches, consultants, and creators sell their services and digital products online. The platform combines three core capabilities in a single dashboard:
- One-to-one paid session booking with Google Calendar integration and built-in video calls
- Digital product sales for e-books, online courses, PDFs, audio files, video files, and image bundles
- Live class hosting with support for up to 10 co-hosts, automatic reminders, and session recording
Coachli is free to use with no monthly subscription. Creators pay only a transaction fee when they make a sale: 4 percent plus ₦50 on Nigerian Naira sales, and 7.5 percent on US Dollar and other Stripe-supported currency sales. See the full pricing breakdown.
Payments are processed through Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave, enabling native acceptance of Nigerian Naira, US Dollars, Pound Sterling, Euros, Ghanaian Cedi, and South African Rand. The platform is used by coaches and creators across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ghana, and South Africa.
How Coachli started
Coachli was founded in 2022 by Sharon Onyinye and launched publicly in March 2023.
The platform was built to solve a specific operational problem: coaches and creators in Africa and the diaspora were stitching together five or six separate tools to run their business. Calendly for scheduling. Zoom for video calls. Stripe or PayPal for payments (often inaccessible to Nigerian clients). A separate course platform for digital products. Another tool for live events.
Each tool had its own monthly fee, its own learning curve, and its own payment processor. For a Lagos-based business coach with a client in London and a client in Lagos, none of the existing options handled both currencies cleanly in a single dashboard.
Coachli brings these capabilities together with native multi-currency support via Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave. Over 15,000 creators now use Coachli as their primary platform, with the company processing more than ₦1 billion in transactions to date.

How Coachli handles security and payments
Coachli does not hold creator funds directly. Payments flow through Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave, each of which is independently regulated and PCI DSS compliant. Creators receive payouts directly from these processors to their own bank accounts.
The platform operates through two legal entities: Coachli Technology Inc. (Delaware, United States) and Coachli Technology Ltd (Nigeria, RC Number 1948963). Creator data and sales records belong to the creator and can be exported at any time as CSV.
Coachli does not currently hold HIPAA certification, so health practitioners handling protected health information should use a dedicated HIPAA-compliant platform for those workflows.
How Coachli is different
Coachli is most often compared to:
- Kajabi:US-built, $179-$499 per month, strong on marketing automation, USD-only
- Teachable:US-built, $29-$399 per month with tier-dependent transaction fees, strong on course delivery, USD-focused
- Thinkific:Canadian-built, $36-$499 per month, strong on structured course features
- Stan Store:$29-$99 per month, optimised for Instagram link-in-bio creators
- Gumroad:10% + $0.50 per direct sale, 30% on marketplace, focused on digital product sales
- Selar:Nigerian-built, established marketplace for African creators
- Mainstack:Nigerian-built, link-in-bio focus with global currency support (3% base + payment-method fees)
Coachli is the strongest fit for:
- Coaches who sell paid 1:1 sessions alongside digital products or courses
- Creators with mixed audiences in multiple currencies
- Solo creators who can't justify a monthly subscription before they have sales
- African creators serving diaspora clients in the United Kingdom, United States, or Canada
Another platform may be better for:
- Established creators earning over $5,000 per month in USD with mature email lists (Kajabi)
- Course creators who need structured quizzes, certificates, and assignments (Thinkific or Teachable)
- Instagram-native creators monetising a single bio link (Stan Store)
- Creators selling only to Nigerian audiences with no international clients (Selar)
